Weezevent acquired Kaboodle

Weezevent, the leading European software for ticketing management and cashless payment solutions for event organisers, acquired the UK-based company Kaboodle.

Founded in 2008 by Pierre-Henri Deballon and Sébastien Tonglet, Weezevent quickly became an undisputable leader in tech solutions for event organisers. As a pioneer in self-service ticketing in France with its SaaS online software, Weezevent interconnects ticketing, access control, payment, CRM, and 3D seat modelling solutions. With a highly scalable business model, Weezevent has rapidly become the preferred partner of prestigious festivals such as Hellfest, Tomorrowland, and Lollapalooza, as well as leading sport clubs including Paris Saint-Germain, Stade Français and Royal Antwerp FC, and major properties like Formula 1, the World Ski Championships, and the Red Bull Air Race. Since its founding, Weezevent has served over 500,000 event organizers and processed more than 150 million tickets across 30 countries, with 260 team members across Europe and Canada.

Founded in 2017 and led by Gareth Cooper, Kaboodle is a B2B technology platform enabling event organisers understand their audience and maximise their customer experience and revenue through tickets and upselling travel and accommodation. The company operates across camping festivals, day/metropolitan festivals, music festivals, and overseas/travel events including Snowbombing (AT), Silverstone F1 Woodlands (UK), Primavera Sound (ES), and Creamfields (UK).

The acquisition strengthens Weezevent’s position in the European market and enhances the group’s capabilities in self-service and customised ticketing, cashless payments, access control, accreditation and staff management.

Clairfield International acted as exclusive financial advisor to Weezevent.
