Clairfield advises Infobest Group on the sale to AROBS Transilvania Software (BVB: AROBS)

Infobest Group, specialised in the development of customised software solutions, was sold to AROBS Transilvania Software (BVB: AROBS), the largest technology company listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange.

Infobest was founded in 1995 in Pulheim, Germany, by entrepreneurs Yvonne Abstoss-Becker and Christian Becker, and in 2000, the company opened an office in Timisoara. Currently, Infobest has a team of over 100 specialists in the development of customised software solutions for the e-commerce, manufacturing, automotive, telecommunications, finance, media, and communications industries, covering the entire life cycle of an application. Infobest has a strong presence on the DACH market with many long-term clients ranging from mid-size companies to multinational corporations, including automotive, telecom, and manufacturing global market leaders.

AROBS Transilvania Software provides software services and solutions in various industries and is present in 11 locations in Romania and nine abroad. Over 1,200 AROBS specialists and collaborators build solutions for the future in embedded – automotive, aerospace, maritime, and medical – as well as travel technology, IoT, clinical trials, fintech, enterprise solutions, cybersecurity, and intelligent automation.

By acquiring Infobest, AROBS consolidates its presence in the Romanian and German markets, its expertise in the software services business line, and accesses new industries, including telecommunications, media, and communication.
