Wim Goossens

Wim has been a partner at Clairfield in Belgium since 2023. With more than 25 years of experience, he has earned a reputation as a seasoned professional in the investment banking industry.

Wim has provided invaluable counsel on numerous delistings, including prominent names such as CNP, Omega Pharma, Henex, and Compagnie Maritime Belge. In addition to delistings, he has facilitated numerous buyside and sellside mandates for international Belgian corporates and has collaborated with a wide range of large international private equity houses.

During his career, Wim has delved into a diverse range of industries, from consumer goods, food and beverages, industrials, healthcare, and chemicals to technology companies, real estate, energy and utilities, business services, and public sector entities.

Before joining Clairfield, Wim worked with esteemed institutions such as Generale Bank, ABN AMRO / RBS, BNP Paribas, and Alantra.

Wim holds a masters in business economics, maritime and fluvial law, maritime sciences, and business administration from the University of Antwerp.
