Tom McCarthy

Tom joined Clairfield in 2018 as a director to focus on the industrials market. He was made partner in 2021 and now heads up the Birmingham Industrials practice and is co-chair of the Clairfield Industrials group.

Recent deals advised by Tom include the private equity-backed MBO of Nationwide Hire, the crossborder sale of HL Smith to ATC Drivetrain, and the sale of Make My Blinds to Decora.

Tom graduated with a degree from the University of Manchester.
