Marino Marchi

Marino Marchi is co-head of Clairfield’s energy, cleantech & resources group.

Marino began his sector focus on energy earlier in his career at Lazard and UniCredit. He has since led numerous transactions, particularly in the renewable energy segment, the multi-utility sector, and the regulated sector, frequently dealing with all major Italian operators. Recent deals Marino has worked on include the disposal of a minority stake in Dolomiti Energia Group to Equitix; the disposal of MagMa Holding to Ravago; the integration of AIM Vicenza and AGSM Verona; and the acquisition by CDP Equity of a 30% stake in Renovit, an energy efficiency platform, in partnership with Snam. He has also worked on deals with players including Terra Firma, F2i, Enel Green Power, ENI, all the major Italian multi-utilities, Edison, Engie, and E.On.

Marino graduated with a degree in finance from Bocconi University in Milan.
