Gustavo Castro

Gustavo has over 10 years of experience in M&A, venture capital, and corporate finance, with expertise in technology, professional services, industry, retail, and education.

Previously, he worked in the Investment Banking division at Citi in New York, where he was involved in M&A and capital markets transactions (IPOs and follow-ons) across the United States, Europe, and India, with a focus on the technology sector. He also worked at the Brazilian venture capital firm Monashees, leading investments in Fintech, eCommerce/Marketplaces, and AgTech.

Gustavo holds an MBA with high honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, a master’s degree in production engineering from Politecnico di Milano (POLIMI), and a bachelor’s degree in production engineering from the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo (POLI-USP). He has been a CFA Charterholder since 2019.
