Dirk has more than 20 years’ experience in corporate finance, business development, and strategy. He joined Clairfield in 2015.

Until 2008, Dirk worked for the listed EMC Corporation, headquartered in Boston, one of the 25 largest IT companies in the Fortune 500 and now part of DELL Technologies. As head of strategic alliances and mergers & acquisitions, he was involved in national and international corporate development projects. In 2008 he moved to work as a director for a small and mid-cap focused mergers & acquisitions boutique with a focus on technology firms as well as start-ups in the fields of software, internet, and media.

Dirk graduated with a degree in business law and is a member of advisory and supervisory boards at several technology companies.
