Over the last decade, the market grew by 4% CAGR and is projected to stay at this pace until 2029. Sustainable design, the integration of new technologies, and smart furniture practices will play a key part in shaping this industry, adding to its value and appeal.

In line with the great feedback and high numbers in attendance at this year’s Milan Design Week, the top 10 Italian groups achieved an aggregate turnover of EURO 4.6 billion (+2% versus 2022), and recent M&A transactions have been by large design and furniture groups making complementary acquisitions to consolidate.
