Clairfield issues fairness opinion for LuxTrust

LuxTrust is an IT service provider whose mission is to guarantee the digital identity and security of electronic data for businesses and citizens. LuxTrust is a certification authority that issues and manages electronic certificates with a high level of security.

LuxTrust was created in 2005 and is supported by the State of Luxembourg (main shareholder) as well as institutional and financial partners including SNCI/Société Nationale de Crédit et d’Investissement, BCEE/Banque et Caisse d’Epargne de l’Etat de Luxembourg, BIL, POST, BGL BNP Paribas, Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce, Raiffeisen Bank, and the Luxembourg Stock Exchange.

As part of its capital reorganization, LuxTrust retained Clairfield International in France for a fairness opinion based on the intrinsic method (discounted cash flows based on a medium and a best case business plan) and analogical methods (listed peers and comparable transactions in digital security, identity authentication, and electronic document flow management).

Clairfield International acted as independent financial expert to LuxTrust.
