ISEM Packaging Group acquired EGISA

ISEM Packaging Group, a manufacturer of luxury rigid boxes and packaging for the perfumery, cosmetics, and champagne industries acquired EGISA, a specialised packaging company with a similar focus.

With the support of Peninsula Capital, ISEM Packaging Group has been pursuing an ambitious industrial integration strategy to become the first fully-integrated multinational luxury packaging group, offering a 360° multi-product and multi-service proposition to its target markets.

EGISA, founded in 1964 and headquartered in Barcelona, designs and manufactures customised folding packaging boxes for premium brands in the perfumery, cosmetics, wine & spirits, and gourmet food industries. EGISA’s extensive experience in the manufacture of high-end folding carton packaging will play a key role in extending ISEM’s leadership in these sectors. By leveraging EGISA’s market knowledge, ISEM will further strengthen its ability to create bespoke packaging solutions tailored to the unique needs of luxury brands.

Carlos Labori, CEO of EGISA, will maintain his role as CEO. He stated: “Becoming part of ISEM Packaging Group marks an exciting new chapter for EGISA. This integration allows us to combine our deep expertise in high-end folding cartons with the strength and resources of a major international group. It ensures business continuity for our employees and partners, while opening up new opportunities for growth and innovation. Together, we will continue to deliver top-quality luxury packaging solutions that meet the evolving needs of global brands.”

Clairfield International acted as exclusive financial advisor to ISEM.
