Sergi Nin

Sergi joined Clairfield in Spain in 2019,  bringing a wealth of experience in the financial advisory industry. Since then, he played a key role in numerous transactions across a wide range of sectors, including pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, chemicals, technology, and services. His expertise encompasses both buy-side and sell-side advisory, where he has demonstrated a strong ability to navigate complex financial landscapes, structure successful deals, and drive value for clients.

Before joining Clairfield, Sergi worked at Deloitte in Barcelona, where he spent over three years in the M&A Transaction Services division. There, he specialised in due diligence and restructuring projects, providing critical insights that informed strategic decisions and facilitated successful transactions.

Throughout his career, Sergi has been recognised for his ability to manage complex projects and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams — pivotal in driving the success of the transactions he oversees, with a total deal value exceeding EUR 300 million.

Speaking four languages and having completed an exchange programme at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology has provided Sergi with a global perspective. This international exposure, combined with his extensive transactional experience, has equipped him with valuable knowledge of doing business across borders and the intricacies of global markets.

Sergi graduated with a degree in business administration from Esade in Barcelona.
