Dhyanesh Sundarmurthy

Dhyanesh has 15 years’ of investment banking experience in transactions across M&A, private equity capital raise, and structured credit capital raise. He has worked on domestic (India) and crossborder transactions of over US$2.0 billion during his corporate finance career across healthcare, BFSI (including fintech), TMT, clean energy, and the consumer industries.He joined RMB India in 2011 after working with Houlihan Lokey in Mumbai.

Some of the recent transactions he has worked on include disposals of Tata Communications’ South African subsidiary Neotel to Liquid Telecom and Royal Bafokeng Holdings (US$490 million); Adcock Ingram’s Indian formulations business to Samara Capital; FNB’s India microfinance platform to the Centrum Group; Vikram Solar’s operational solar power platform to Goldman Sachs-backed ReNew Power; Cipla’s US$512m acquisition of Cipla Medpro South Africa; and Tata Petrodyne’s acquisition of participating interests in oil and gas blocks in Tanzania.
