Clairfield expands technology team

 

thierry pepinClairfield International is pleased to announce that Thierry Pepin has joined as a partner in France and will be in charge of the Canada desk, specifically in the technology sector. Thierry is recognized as a strategic and financial advisor with thorough sector and operational expertise in technology. He is based in Montreal.

Thierry has worked in entrepreneurship, merger & acquisition, private placement, and investment activities in technology for more than 20 years. Prior to joining Clairfield International, Thierry served as CEO and co-founder of five companies in the software, web, and mobile sectors: Yelago (a social gaming platform), CoachClub (interactive sports-coaching), Goom Radio (thematic radio formats for businesses), Messagio (mobile software solutions), and Maneos (customized multi-device information guide).

Previously Thierry served as senior VP of mergers & acquisitions for the  Fi System (then a listed company) where he originated, executed, and completed 10 crossborder acquisitions and managed various equity market transactions including public exchange offers and a USD 100 million capital increase.

In addition, Thierry advised over 50 small, medium and large companies in the telecom, internet, and digital media sectors in Canada, France, the UK, and the US. Among other assignments, he led numerous fundraisings in Europe and North America in the TMT sector, advised on strategic and financial consultancy, and managed several assignments in change management, restructuring, and innovation. Thierry also co-founded a private equity firm sold to Caisse des dépôts in France.

Thierry holds a master of science in engineering (Ecole des Mines, France), a master in corporate finance (Arts & Métiers, France), and a master in marketing & communication (ESCP Europe).
