Orisha and its subsidiary Gaïana acquired Gregal
Orisha, a European B2B software publisher, together with its subsidiary Gaïana, France’s leading publisher of software for the agrifood sector, acquired the Spanish software publisher Gregal.
Founded in 2003, Orisha is a European software publisher dedicated to companies in the retail, real estate, healthcare, construction, and agritech sectors. The group offers essential business solutions, including payment processing, commercial and financial management, inventory management, CRM, HR, and e-commerce. In 2023, Orisha reorganised its activities into business units, including the agri-food unit which was expanded in 2024 with the acquisition of Gaïana, the French software leader for the wine & spirits, horticulture, and agriculture sectors. Originating in France, Orisha now has over 1,800 employees across Europe. Since 2021, Orisha is backed by the prominent tech private equity firm TA Associates.
Founded in 2000, Gregal is a leading software publisher in Spain for both the horticultural and fruit sectors. It offers a broad portfolio of solutions, including VisionAgro SaaS, an ERP solution developed on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, HR and payroll management solutions, mobility solutions, and dashboards with Microsoft Power BI. Gregal has 49 employees and over 250 clients.
This acquisition enables Orisha to strengthen the offerings of its Agri-food business unit, which includes Gaïana, by expanding its product and service portfolio, and to benefit from Gregal’s technological expertise and customer base in the Iberian Peninsula.
This is the third acquisition closed by Gaïana (Orisha) in Spain, following the acquisition of Tipsa in March 2024 and Ayanet in September 2023, both of which were also advised by Clairfield in France and Spain.
Clairfield International acted as exclusive financial advisor to Orisha and its subsidiary Gaïana.
