Clairfield advises Safestore on the acquisition of STOOR

Safestore, UK’s largest and Europe’s second largest provider of self-storage, acquired STOOR, a self-storage facility in Apeldoorn in the Netherlands.

Safestore (SAFE.L) is the UK’s largest and Europe’s second-largest self-storage group with 178 self-storage facilities in 5 countries offering storage space across the UK & Europe.

With this acquisition, Safestore further strengthens its position in the Dutch self-storage market. This acquisition is in line with their current buy-and-build strategy as Safestore aims to further expand throughout Europe. The company has developed a multi-country highly scalable platform with leading marketing and operational expertise in self-storage, with a proven track record for developing its platform in new markets.
